T
he department of Information Technology commenced activity in 2002 offering the B.Tech degree in Information Technology. The method of teaching in the College includes lecture, discussions, practical tutorials, course assignment, on the job training and project assignments. By the time student completes the 4 year programme, he / she will be fully equipped with the required theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the technical field with the area of specialization. The Department has 5 laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art computing facilities to support teaching activities. The department proudly posses this lab with high speed internet connectivity using ISDN. These students can use the Internet for augmenting their knowledge. 

Association The IT association XPLOTECH is functioning with the active participation from the students and the faculty members. The members of this association have presented papers in seminars conducted by other college. The association conducts academic as well as non-academic programs, which provide the students a chance to bring out their talents.
